Opposite side of the trading card is an article from the Daily Bugle that reads:

“Spider-Man Versus Venom
NEW YORK: Upon learning of their return from a Soviet prison camp, Venom kidnapped Spider-Man’s parents Richards and Mary Parker in the hopes of luring the wall-crawler into a trap. Spider-Man followed Venom to his hideout, and drove him off before he could reveal the web-slinger’s true identity to his parents. Spider-Man then pursued Venom to an amusement park, where the symbiotic super-villain head confronted his ex-wife. Spider-Man saved Venom’s ex-wife from being crushed by falling debris, making the twisted evil-doer realize that, like himself, Spider-Man was commited (typo) to protecting innocent people. Venom then formed a truce with the wall-crawler.”
